Scott Ehrlich has been on the restaurant scene for 20 years, working early on, after culinary school, with renowned chefs such as Wylie Dufresne and Scott Bryan before opening his own restaurants in New York and Miami.
While having been recognized on the NYC restaurant scene most notably as co-owner and chef of successful aKa, Scott, who is naturally reserved, prefers to think of himself as an Islander, having already spent several seasons on Martha’s Vineyard.
As executive chef at The Sweet Life Cafe, Scott brings a passion to the kitchen; his creativity key to the development of the ever-evolving menu highlighting Island catches and locally grown produce. Exceptional ingredients and ambitious combinations, Scott’s cuisine is compelling, bringing a contemporary touch to The Sweet Life Café.
